Sports player or Music player

After the NBA season, the world heads up to FIFA. Sports being in the scene of arts since the ancient times, have emerged into different forms for man to enjoy with. How ‘bout music then? Who could ever forget music, which is another form of arts for leisure.

Every man needs his entertainment, as well for the women. Seriously ladies, good looks plus talent are really a combo package. Not only that we get to see our favorite artists doing their stuff on stage, but being able to know they are that good! Pft no words can describe exactly except the feeling of fireworks on our stomachs… the life of a fan.

Brandon Boyd (Incubus) and Takeshi Yasutoko (XGames Champion)

It’s a post for the women since I am a girl myself. The screaming part may be not a good idea but I admit on the dreaming and watching them an eyeful! Personally I have a huge database of crushes on the music scene but which players are good? Do you prefer the pumping up adrenaline type of talented guys or the one who could soothe your souls away kinda of players? You decide!

Note: this will be my girliest post ever since I’m trying to squeeze every girly cell inside of me that way I could elaborate it more lively hahahaha

Round 1: Talent

You gotta have the exceptional skills to be noticed by the female arena. So our men should have this, not only that he knows how to play but doing it effortlessly good! Technically some does have the hots first, but I prefer them with exceptional talent. Both parties have excellent areas in exposing these guys. Although sporty types have a wider need in physical skills than those on the music scene. With all the training to perfect that unique factor, sportsmen sure do spend almost half of their lifetime doing it.

Brendon Urie (Panic! At the Disco) and Paul Gasol (NBA LA Lakers)

No matter which way you prefer, the female instinct can never be wrong on spotting the ideal guy and thanking God that human being such as him existed.

Well I say sorry for the guys who are *coughs* plainly normal. We love spices in our lives!

Round 2: Stages of Performance

The stage is his element, a vital piece to his so called show. Its where these men portray the stuff they love doing. It could be anything to anywhere as long as he is free to do whatever he wants to. Musicians have a more flexible field; they could even use the street pavements as their tool. They tend to use every space possible just to deliver a song or show off some guitar slides or drum rolls.

Athletes have different set of stages, depends on what sports they play. Although some sports have alterations to where to play like those in skateboards and basketball, some are harder to pull like swimming and racing. Overall these guys can put a great show… making ladies scream for more.

Round 3: Rising Ability

The mode of spreading a guy’s awesome talents (plus looks) has got to do on how and where he is usually exposed. The media can be very helpful to a rising star’s potential to showcase to the world. Saying it’s a way of global domination!

Alex Turner (Artic Monkeys) and Gonzalo Higuain (FIFA Argentina)

I gotta say that the musicians have the advantage since everyday they got to have gigs, radio shows or mall shows to attend to. Plus everywhere they go, fans of screaming girls are always there! They can be persistent to like being drag down to the airport, just don’t underestimate the powers of a battalion of girls.

As for the sporty type, they can chill quite a lot. Still they are being stormed by some paparazzi or fans whenever they do groceries, eating in restaurants or other stuff like that. They have less media exposure unlike the musician type but they still do some cover shoots in magazines or tv programs interviews.

Round 4: Mode of Payment

Every artist needs to have his assets in best condition. So those paychecks and bank accounts are always on the way up, for some at least. Payments are a way of the compensation they get from just being talented. Mind you its kinda hard being able to maintain such stamina, condition and grace in performing. I know they are rich but they do deserve it since they bring people entertainment.

The athletes have the advantage in this one. From practicing to the actual game, these athletes know best on how to keep those accounts full. From contract signing to sponsor deals, you just have to trust your skills on this plus the playing part is all that matters.

Jared Leto (30 Seconds to Mars) and Tayshaun Prince (NBA Detriot Pistons)

For musicians, they need to come up with new materials or nice tracks to keep their labels up. There are tons of talented musicians not included on the mainstream area. Personally to me having record labels are great, but your actions are kinda limited since you have to do what the label are saying. As for the indie artists, it may be hard to earn but the music they deliver is really their own. Seasonal is what I call it plus you must be wise also to survive the music scene.

Round 5: Fan Communication

What is the most important thing for a fan is having her favorite athlete or musician respond to her. It’s proof that somehow they actually know you exist in this world and receiving a thank you from them personally is heaven. Anyways, without the fans, I guess these artists won’t be making it to entertainment but will forever be considered talented on his own little ways. Talent should be showcase not hidden.

This got to be hard for the artists to actually respond every single fan. It’s just that some fans way go overboard and that can be labeled as stalking or annoying. Communication is key. If the artist is exposed to the fans more, he can send his messages to them gradually. Usually the musicians have the advantage to this for promos like after party meetings, VIP guest lists or back stage passes. Either ways, musicians tend to hang with his fans more than the athletes. Sure some athletes do respond, their time is dedicated more in training.

Winner:

Personally I have already said my preferences during the first few paragraphs. I prefer musicians more than athletes though, i have huge weakness to a man who knows how to play a guitar. Not a fan of sweat though. I watch a lot of sports but my heart belongs to music.
