Whinings

Eventually it’s been a month before posting any stuff on my blog…

As for a little update kinda busy with work, not having my laptop at home since the bro harbors it a lot for his review and my days off consist of drinking both alcohol and caffeine that I just slumber to bed when I arrived late.

For starters I just had to change my blog interface, the old one was getting a bit too crowded. Was looking for a cleaner look plus getting those codes are a fuss. For now I like my orange style though, and the monkey offers me a sense of welcome to my page.

And oh yes, the bro didn’t mentioned to me about reformatting the damn laptop, so my precious bookmarks and blog entries that weren’t published yet are gone forever. Now I have to start from scratch to eventually make up some lost data. My pseudo tumblr list is gone that I have to link a new one or more like continue to a new list without cutting it off. Hai life sucks sometimes…

this picture states it all

Typically I’m bored even though I am back to my pace life of busy and party. I guess my age has suggested to look for some ‘newer’ excitement install for me.

I don’t get it why I am this bored na with life in general.

Work is fine so far even if I am now assigned to ICU in a just 4 months of probation; so far so good on the job and taking care of those patients. The only thing I dreaded the most is the spongbath with perineal care kinda of thing. Swiping of other people’s butt is no joke and really gross too. Although the work is ok I do miss sometimes the business of it on the floor, where you can see time flies so fast. Hai like I said life sucks and that it’s life why I entered this kind of career anyway.

with the 5a station staff, kinda miss working with them

went zipline with them at Papakits Danao

lastly, food tripping with them

As for other aspect, I’ll be turning 23 soon and I’m broke out of hell. I also have to work on that day since I forgot to ask for a day off since they make schedules really early. I dunno what to splurge on but my only rule is that I must get up and thank the Big Guy above for me to breathe in this past 23 years. The materialistic stuff could come after though and that I should learn how to save save and save some more.

Still single though, but that part is the least one that I am having trouble with. I just want something weird or exciting to happen. Something that entertains me somehow cause really I’m bored bored bored with my life today.

Reading this entry makes me kinda sad… it sounds like my life is on constant motion to repeating. I must I must post some other stuff besides this… hey this is an update anyway

You Ok?

When meeting with familiar faces my first question would be normally ‘how’s life’ or ‘are you ok’ sort of phrases. Normally they would reply with a smile or simple ‘I’m ok’ kind of statement. Then again, these questions have been used so many times already that it has been so generalized. Generalized to a sense that there are loads of aspects in a man’s life that you can’t simply just put it on a simple phrase as OK. Hence, the true meaning of a man’s answer for this question has overshadowed it.

got me thinking [image source]

I’m not saying that when you say yes to this question you are lying to yourself. I just want to clarify it. Since it is been use on repeat that our brains put it as a template. So general right?

Ever since this has struck on my mind, I begin to wonder that question. I mean why just simply ask directly to what you really need to know instead of this opening phrase. I know it’s kinda rude just to ask directly but it somehow annoys me. So I end up over analyzing what to reply on the question and end up with gazillion replies instead.

I noticed people to be so protective when it comes to their emotions. Everyone seems to be afraid when they are on the downs, I know I am. Still I have a hard time of releasing the trust I give to people. Yes letting people in to your lives is hard but making them as regular or valued customers is harder.

How about you? How’s your life after reading this?

Maybe...

Maybe. . .we were supposed to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one so that, when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

Maybe . . . when the door of happiness closes, another opens; but, often times, we look so long at the closed door that we don’t even see the new one which has been opened for us.

just maybe [image source]

Maybe . . . it is true that we don’t know what we have until we lose it, but it is also true that we don’t know what we have been missing until it arrives.

Maybe . . . the happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Maybe . . . the brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; after all, you can’t go on successfully in life until you let go of your past mistakes, failures and heartaches.

Maybe . . . you should dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you dream of, and want to do.

Maybe . . . there are moments in life when you miss someone — a parent, a spouse, a friend, a child — so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real, so that once they are around you appreciate them more.

Maybe . . . the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you’ve ever had.

Maybe . . you should always try to put yourself in others’ shoes. If you feel that something could hurt you, it probably will hurt the other person, too.

Maybe . . you should do something nice for someone every single day, even if it is simply to leave them alone.

Maybe . . . giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back. Don’t expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart; but, if it doesn’t, be content that it grew in yours.

Maybe . . . happiness waits for all those who cry, all those who hurt, all those who have searched, and all those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of all the people who have touched their lives.

Maybe . . . you shouldn’t go for looks; they can deceive; don’t go for wealth; even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.

Maybe . . you should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy

Maybe . . . you should try to live your life to the fullest because when you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling but when you die, you can be the one who is smiling and everyone around you crying.

A life in 2011

Another year has come for us all… so people may ask what are your new year resolutions then?

I guess you have a quick answer to yourself, resolution? That statement will only be good from the beginning yet people will go back to themselves again…

Happy New Year Everybody! awesome image by [image source]

Funny but its true since I experienced this for like years now…

What I actually find it clear is that why people think that way? I personally have my mind set to this kind of thing but how bout thinking the other way around? How bout thinking that I can change this 2011?

Mentality, don’t underestimate the power of the mind.

I mean many say that our destinies are written, we are the one who writes those destines. What you think affects what may happen in reality. Yes I don’t believe that there is such a thing as fate since we constantly have different wants in time.

Frame of mind

The statement above was based when I heard about Bo Sanchez. It got me thinking actually since what he said has somehow the same perception on the book of The Secret. He said that for you to change you should hang out with people who have a positive mind frame. With positive mind frame comes discipleship. When you go and have a relationship rather a relationship to change. That way its easy for you to change to a level that you can be successful. Simple yet challenging since mostly all the people here on earth are so negative. Take a look on my mother for example. You may have close friends who are like that hence you can dubbed them as dream killers. Instead that you are being influenced by these people, why about influencing them with your positivity; that way all of your friends can be benefited also.

Currently, that is what I’m trying to say through my text messages and twitter updates.

Thoughts become things

A little insight about the Laws of Attraction

So this was derived from the book, The Secret. Talking about the laws of attraction. If you think about it, it has the same concept as what Bo Sanchez had explained.

If what you think is that you’ll never change, then you won’t. Everything in this world is changing except for people who tends to be so close minded to what they already think. Kinda sad actually. For example me, I came to a realization that the reason I don’t loose any weight because my perception is that I’m not fat. I tend to say that my body is still ok but in reality its not. So how many times I put myself into diet, exercise or into some drugs none will work. And yes I challenge myself to that this 2011.

Try be a person with a positive frame of mind

Try be a person that can change and prove others

Try be a person that can help others to your ways on life

I love that to be that person on this new year. A person that can be of help. I challenge myself that. if you have read this part already then I thank you for being a witness to this post that on the next 12 months my life will change.

Third SEX trending

Funny the question people ask these days is not if you’re single…

the third sexes [sources 1 & 2]

Try to guess…
Yup it’s usually a question if you’re straight or not

I know kinda creepy for a girl like who came from a country that somehow despise the practice of third sex… yet when you see clearly almost all the youngsters of this generation has somewhat blindly embracing the trends of western culture.

I get it we Filipinos can be copycats of our own but in some cases trending of hitting both sexes isn’t quite clear to me. Kinda shock that almost all are doing it while outside the mask of society rules, rules, rules usually hit you right back.

Which rules are right anyway? The new trend or the old ones?

Personally
I have no grudges on the third sex thing. Got loads of friends who are practicing it and I respect the decision and actions they make. The disturbing part is that some people kinda went overboard just well to get attention. My first guess is usually attention from others, so that people will notice you. Let’s face it some people are hunger for fame, even it is in the direction of lameness.

It’s hard to stop since its trending, I don’t call it love… I usually see it as an excuse or a ticket to get attention. For some reason my cousin’s friend had this weird experience of an ex boyfriend. Typically the ex was just courting the girl just to get close with the girl’s guy friend. Hard right? Using someone just to get what he wants. Indeed it’s cruel. Worst part is that the girl is already in love with the gay guy. So this means that the poorest sex would be the straight females. Anyways this life isn’t a competition. The problems lies on the stuff people do. Turning into a casual thing. We can say it’s ok since everyone is doing it but when someone close to you is a victim, think again.

Exhibit A: some really enjoy this

One thing I hate about this third sex stuff is that some people usually label a good looking guy gay! Just because the guy is clean, neat and well do things slowly. Is there any standards for it? I don’t know any more if which is which since mostly some of them are true and some of them are bogus. The things people do.

Exhibit B: fan service? i dunno

The worst part is forcing stuff that are kinda not cool to look at. Like the pictures above, the good atmosphere on a good picture I’m looking at is ruin. Or like some celebrities forcing to kiss onstage just to get publicity. Hence if you have a boyfriend, you better watch out for thieves on both sexes. As for the singles, you better look clearly unto the ones you like.

Meet the Yaoi

The male to male lovemaking. There are lots of anime out there previewing this and sometimes it’s not cute anymore. I get disturbed for longer periods but I can’t help it to stop popping it out of no where. It's like the females enjoying their form of porn as well.[source]

Meet the Yuri

The female version of yaoi. I have no idea which is better or sicker? when it comes to animes or drawings it usually doesn't offend me. I think it depends on the art but when you see it in real life; disturbing actually… [source]

Even after reading this post over and over again so that it won’t sound like gender biased, I can’t helped it. If this is a sexism kind of post or you find it streotypish kind of way..sorry…I dunno… opinions are on my head. Alarming on what I am actually seeing at the world right now.

I don’t know when this will stop but I just hope that innocent lives will be spared. There are lots of ugly stories out there revolving this category. Hitting two at one at a time, I guess lust is a strong sin.

Sports player or Music player

After the NBA season, the world heads up to FIFA. Sports being in the scene of arts since the ancient times, have emerged into different forms for man to enjoy with. How ‘bout music then? Who could ever forget music, which is another form of arts for leisure.

Every man needs his entertainment, as well for the women. Seriously ladies, good looks plus talent are really a combo package. Not only that we get to see our favorite artists doing their stuff on stage, but being able to know they are that good! Pft no words can describe exactly except the feeling of fireworks on our stomachs… the life of a fan.

Brandon Boyd (Incubus) and Takeshi Yasutoko (XGames Champion)

It’s a post for the women since I am a girl myself. The screaming part may be not a good idea but I admit on the dreaming and watching them an eyeful! Personally I have a huge database of crushes on the music scene but which players are good? Do you prefer the pumping up adrenaline type of talented guys or the one who could soothe your souls away kinda of players? You decide!

Note: this will be my girliest post ever since I’m trying to squeeze every girly cell inside of me that way I could elaborate it more lively hahahaha

Round 1: Talent

You gotta have the exceptional skills to be noticed by the female arena. So our men should have this, not only that he knows how to play but doing it effortlessly good! Technically some does have the hots first, but I prefer them with exceptional talent. Both parties have excellent areas in exposing these guys. Although sporty types have a wider need in physical skills than those on the music scene. With all the training to perfect that unique factor, sportsmen sure do spend almost half of their lifetime doing it.

Brendon Urie (Panic! At the Disco) and Paul Gasol (NBA LA Lakers)

No matter which way you prefer, the female instinct can never be wrong on spotting the ideal guy and thanking God that human being such as him existed.

Well I say sorry for the guys who are *coughs* plainly normal. We love spices in our lives!

Round 2: Stages of Performance

The stage is his element, a vital piece to his so called show. Its where these men portray the stuff they love doing. It could be anything to anywhere as long as he is free to do whatever he wants to. Musicians have a more flexible field; they could even use the street pavements as their tool. They tend to use every space possible just to deliver a song or show off some guitar slides or drum rolls.

Athletes have different set of stages, depends on what sports they play. Although some sports have alterations to where to play like those in skateboards and basketball, some are harder to pull like swimming and racing. Overall these guys can put a great show… making ladies scream for more.

Round 3: Rising Ability

The mode of spreading a guy’s awesome talents (plus looks) has got to do on how and where he is usually exposed. The media can be very helpful to a rising star’s potential to showcase to the world. Saying it’s a way of global domination!

Alex Turner (Artic Monkeys) and Gonzalo Higuain (FIFA Argentina)

I gotta say that the musicians have the advantage since everyday they got to have gigs, radio shows or mall shows to attend to. Plus everywhere they go, fans of screaming girls are always there! They can be persistent to like being drag down to the airport, just don’t underestimate the powers of a battalion of girls.

As for the sporty type, they can chill quite a lot. Still they are being stormed by some paparazzi or fans whenever they do groceries, eating in restaurants or other stuff like that. They have less media exposure unlike the musician type but they still do some cover shoots in magazines or tv programs interviews.

Round 4: Mode of Payment

Every artist needs to have his assets in best condition. So those paychecks and bank accounts are always on the way up, for some at least. Payments are a way of the compensation they get from just being talented. Mind you its kinda hard being able to maintain such stamina, condition and grace in performing. I know they are rich but they do deserve it since they bring people entertainment.

The athletes have the advantage in this one. From practicing to the actual game, these athletes know best on how to keep those accounts full. From contract signing to sponsor deals, you just have to trust your skills on this plus the playing part is all that matters.

Jared Leto (30 Seconds to Mars) and Tayshaun Prince (NBA Detriot Pistons)

For musicians, they need to come up with new materials or nice tracks to keep their labels up. There are tons of talented musicians not included on the mainstream area. Personally to me having record labels are great, but your actions are kinda limited since you have to do what the label are saying. As for the indie artists, it may be hard to earn but the music they deliver is really their own. Seasonal is what I call it plus you must be wise also to survive the music scene.

Round 5: Fan Communication

What is the most important thing for a fan is having her favorite athlete or musician respond to her. It’s proof that somehow they actually know you exist in this world and receiving a thank you from them personally is heaven. Anyways, without the fans, I guess these artists won’t be making it to entertainment but will forever be considered talented on his own little ways. Talent should be showcase not hidden.

This got to be hard for the artists to actually respond every single fan. It’s just that some fans way go overboard and that can be labeled as stalking or annoying. Communication is key. If the artist is exposed to the fans more, he can send his messages to them gradually. Usually the musicians have the advantage to this for promos like after party meetings, VIP guest lists or back stage passes. Either ways, musicians tend to hang with his fans more than the athletes. Sure some athletes do respond, their time is dedicated more in training.

Winner:

Personally I have already said my preferences during the first few paragraphs. I prefer musicians more than athletes though, i have huge weakness to a man who knows how to play a guitar. Not a fan of sweat though. I watch a lot of sports but my heart belongs to music.

Knocking on Mr. Brain: Chapter 2

Random thought 4: Anxiety
Stress beckons to our world that leads to fear

Fear of the unknown, yet mild anxiety is healthy

Just don’t loose yourself

It’s ugly when you are out of control

Random thought 5: Facebook

Waiting until my food are all ready to be serve

What if life is simple like that, waiting for things to poof

That world would be like heaven

No worries just waiting for something…

Heaven? I guess facebook doesn’t exist in that world

Since man created it, likely it would be rejected during the main entrance

Unlike Olympus, that way Zeus would be updated

Random thought 6: Floating

Whenever I hear the soundtracks from Pride and Prejudice and Hana Kimi

I get the feeling of wanting to be with those clouds again

The ones were pinned on the blue sky

Thinking about it made me remember the times when stuck in a boat trip

I prefer to seat near the windows, where the clouds perform

Underneath those blue sky is where I would like to be

But it end up falling anyway, to a person unworthy

Knocking on Mr. Brain: The Intro

Random thought 1: Reasons

Is there a possibility of a situation that exist without any reasons? No
Everything happens to a reason according to philosophy.
Reasons exist because of choices. The choices we used had consequences. So man invented parallel universe for other choices to exist.
Curse you song from D’sound entitled ‘Do I need a Reason’ for these stanzas to live
I wonder what kind of parallel universe my other selves look like. I solemnly wish for this universe to have the 5 wishes granted.
1 wish down! Four remains and the 4th one is fast approaching. This September.

Random thought 2: Drying Undergarments
The random thought 1 had to die soon because of my eyes.
My brother had invented a faster way of drying undergarments in doors overnight.
How? By tossing it like a hula hoop of course.
Physics should be the winner of all of this with the help of air.
Not only that it’s helpful, its fun too. You’ll be imagining like a cowboy, with your undergarment as a rope to catch the bad guys
He’s been using this method for a year now. To my surprise it worked. No failed experiments
His best clients, my two cousins: a girl and a boy
Spotted both of them tossing undergarments on the balcony and inside the bathroom
Hang it dry near an air conditioning or electric fan for better results

Random thought 3: Coffee

Been on thinking about it lately, it’s become my source of energy
Worst part, it has been kind of a vitamin
Happy that I’m living healthily with no alcohol for almost 2 months now
Yet the suspect now is coffee, especially the caramel macchiato of Starbucks
Tried the non caffeinated ones like the hot chocolates from Coffee Bean and Bo’s
But the espresso shots are like love bugs calling me
So now I’m broke as hell with all the caffeine inside of me
Plus I’m like a walking zombie wanting some coffee instead of brains

Busted

Typically I got busted…again

found out again yet i didn't take back anything

Come to think of it, I got caught writing something bad to a person twice. First one was in first year college and the second was lately a week ago.

As for the first incident, my anger led me to write down unto a blog using one of those social sites, Friendster. I guess it was public at that time and I have no idea of it to be easily read by my friends on the site. Naïve. I’m looking for a tool actually that I can use to export those blogs here but nothing worked so far. I completely forgot on why on earth I was writing it, all I could remember is that my head was not in a good mood plus usually my only way of handling stress is through writing. I’m not a writer or anything but I find it an easy medium to release it more like sublimation, rather than using displacement or projection. So back to the first discovery, yeah those two literally read it and were sorry. I can still remember the reactions on their faces I guess I was hinting too much on the blog since they got it so easily. I’m a person who likes to use descriptions rather than names… confidentiality bases? Yeah I guess so but I usually don’t find totality hatred on the person, only the actions which are irritating. I suck on holding grudges for so long. Good thing people moved on plus still we have these ok relationships with those two. It wasn’t so bad and both of us learned from it too.

As for the second discovery, it was the frenemy; the same person who I used to describe last post. Well to my dismay, she found out about this blog. As for me I was shocked as hell. While waiting for the time to watch the Eclipse movie, she sent me a sms. I didn’t bother to open at first since I was kinda busy. Next thing I know, I was cursing at the top of my lungs with the twins laughing at me. I even texted my cousin, Lara and Carmi bout it but they just laughed about it too. Yes I freaked out since I know the exact words I used. Reality hit me; it was a good thing actually. At least now, she knows something about it, she’s aware about it. Why didn’t I tell her personally? I’m a person that doesn’t like unpleasant encounters. Plus my encounter was for a short term, wasn’t having any plans to stick around with her. It’s not like that I’m using her, the longer I stick with her the easily get annoyed on everything she does. It’s bothersome but maybe I was being annoying. It’s kinda hard to explain but I guess there are some people who befriend you are better seeing through only few times, not 24/7. It’s her beliefs what maker me irritated sometimes. Her principles maybe are not the things I believe but there is nothing I can do, I can’t force to change her if that are the things which make her what she is.

confused if what she's saying where true or not

How did she found out? Simple! Through my ym account. Not ready to showcase this blog to the friends I have since I’ll be killed for sure. Paranoid is one thing I am. Although I have some followers to this blog, I find it ok because only a few people know my schemes. I also trust them on reading about these schemes. I forgot that I wired my blog to my ym before when I was in high school. Busted totally.

So how things between her? Still friends but some changes. I guess she had it pretty bad since she doesn’t come to any of the review classes with me. We still have communication but I was the one at fault and there is nothing I can do about it. I apologized of course but she was the one who spaced away, my instincts are telling me she’s searching for another ally with this exam. Funny thing is that a very reliable source told me some view points about her and it’s the same as what I experienced. No wonder she’s like that now.

If she finds out this post again, I congratulate her. Oh yeah sorry again for calling her frenemy. I thought about changing this site address but found it would be useless. I don’t know also if you find this post or any of my previous posts being a meany but clearly that is what I feel writing about stuffs. Like I said, this is my sublimation, a coping that I found useful and harmless.

Musings of a Short Hair

After 5 years of wearing a long lock, I had cut it and returned to my young self. The term young meaning reminiscing the old school days no worries of getting dirt on my face, having knee wounds or sporting my fave shirt even if my belly pops around it. Simplicity was the key as long as no one gets hurt.

It wasn’t a big deal to chop off some hair, I mean its hair, and it will grow back. I don’t get it about other females dreading over cutting off their locks. Hmmmm yes hair does make our faces well kinda have an oomph to it. Plus it also fools men of disguising like some people who are cross dressers. Speaking of cross dressers, I just wander why most lesbians are bigger women? They tend to look like oversized children with pigmented nipples. Why do they have to look like that? Well lesbians who are sexy are the scarier ones to me. I have friends like that but beware when they got drunk hahaha. Plus the male specie will have a live show to their pleasing.

before and now

Back to hair! I like mine short thank you very much. Mostly people in college who are used of seeing me long, well criticisms can’t escape. Especially that I’m getting fatter and browner (wait brown can be an adjective? WTH). Yeah plus I really look like the adult version of Dora. I kept on telling myself that karma had backstabbed me since I always despise that kiddie show. Seriously have you seen those episodes? It’s like teaching your kids pointing stuff! Pointing! I’ll stick to my yellow friend Spongebob Sqaurepants.

I did have doubts at first since my mom usually judges me on everything I do. Surprisingly, she jus laughed. It’s like me acting like childish ”daw”. Fine when I act all cute & cuddly that I call childish, which will never happen in a million years. Too much cuteness makes me sick. Examples are those care bears, man it’s like they the worst version of the teletubbies. I can’t even tolerate those teletubbies, hahahha reminds me of the gay purple one that always carry a handbag. When I was in elementary, a few friends of mine like to kick the mascots that visited our school. We would all ran like hell when the person behind the mascot takes off its big head and sends an angry grin on us. Maybe there’s some anti-cuteness in my sytem. My brother also shares the same passion but he’s more of a killer when it comes these.

anti-cuteness system

The good side of having this hair, reminds me of high school a lot! All the comedy and drama I have been through made me what I am right now. Even if I’m still typing this I tend to put any sidelines aka what my brain contains on each paragraph. Memories are all I have right now and these are helpful in times when my emo-ish side breaks loose. Drama queen? Ewwww hate that. Role confusion age I guess is till fresh on my mind. To think this would be the end part when my original topic was about hair!

high shcool reunion
